Journey Sentimental in Vienna
It’s more a journey sentimental when we walk trough Vienna. Just the knowledge we reach this city with a horse drawn caravan is enough! We plan to stay her for e few day’s but things went different.
We look for a place to stay several day’s and luckily we find it at a rider school close to Vienna. We have to pay for this, the horses in a coral, the caravan next to the dunghill. We are happy that Isabella and Aysha have a good place so we don’t complain. Subway With train and subway, we are within 20 minutes in Vienna to look around. At the Stephansplatz (a big square next to the cathedral) are several horse-drawn coaches waiting for clients to make a city tour. We decide not to take one; there is plenty of time for us to look at horses behind. Walking is good for us!
Moreover, walk we do. Hours and hours without going anywhere, just walking. Even the Spanish Lipizzaner riding school we let go by, just watch a video outside is enough. When we afterwards read this article we should have gone to the
Spanish Riding School.
The impressions, color, noises, people and buildings are overwhelming. The changeover from the slowly, silence movement and surroundings to this world city is too much for us. East European The gap between rich and poor is obvious like in every other city nowadays. Wanderers, beggars and street vendors everywhere mostly originate from East-European. On our city map, we spot a green area, the world famous Prater Park. It’s not green at all; it’s a big fairground attraction, famous about the giant Vienna wheel!
Ultimately, at the end we walk and walk and only walk. We end up at the Danube, streaming on the North side of Vienna celebrating the fact we reach Vienna with a horse drawn caravan! This journey sentimental can go on for ever if its up to us.

DrunkBack on the tube, we stay next to a very drunk man. In his hand, a full bag with beer cans. He asks if we have some money for bread. “He has a hungry fire in his belly!” We offer him three euro in exchange for some beer. He close his eyes, opens them again:”the beer I need too! Maybe four Euros is possible?” When we say no, we exchange the three Euro and our paths split again, both of us more and less satisfied.
This journey sentimental has bring us to more beautiful cities.
